I'll guide you through the portraits we need, but I'll also give you plenty of space for the silly, sweet, and completely unexpected moments that make your family yours.

You don't have to know
how to pose.
Most families tell me they have no idea what to do in front of a camera and that's completely okay! I'll guide you through natural poses and give you ideas throughout your session. I'll also let you know if something needs adjusting, so you never have to wonder what you're supposed to do. But some of my favorite photos happen when you forget about the camera completely. We'll mix beautiful portraits with movement, laughter, cuddles, and the
little moments that happen naturally.
Making Kids Comfortable
If you have little ones, I want them to have fun too. I like incorporating little games and playful moments throughout the session so kids don't feel like they have to stand still and smile the entire time. The goal isn't perfect behavior or perfect poses. It's genuine smiles, real connection, and photos that actually
feel like your family.

FAQ
01. what should we wear?
I recommend choosing outfits that make you feel comfortable and look like yourselves. Soft, neutral colors and coordinating tones photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel good in what you're wearing. I can also send you a Style Guide.
02. what if my kids don't cooperate?
Don't worry! Kids don't have to sit still for an entire session. I always try to incorporate games and movement and give them time to warm up. Some of the best photographs happen when they're simply being themselves.
03. what happens if it rains?
If the weather isn't ideal for your session, we'll communicate and decide whether it's better to continue, wait it out, or reschedule.
04. how soon will we receive our photos?
Your gallery will typically be delivered within 1-2 weeks after your session. Sometimes it could be sooner.
